Yifan Wu

Biography

Yifan Wu started piano lessons when he was 4. At age 9, he was admitted to the Music Middle School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music, studying with Professor Ting Zhou, Vice President of the Music Middle School for 8 years. In 2019, he made his debut recital in Steinway Hall in Shanghai, as well as his concerto debut collaborating with Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra. He was selected as Young Scholar by Lang Lang International Music Foundation for the scholarship year 2024-2026. International competition successes include: Grand Prix, the Rachmaninoff International Youth Piano Competition (2023); Second Prize, the Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition (2023); BEST NEW ARTIST, the 6th International Professional Bravo Music Awards (2024).
