Biography

Ziyu Liu is a student of Arie Vardi at the Hochschule für Musik Theater und Medien Hannover. He is the winner of several international competitions including the 1st Prize at the 70th Giovan Battista Viotti International Music Competition 2019, the 1st Prize and the Beethoven Concerto Prize at the 29th Città de Cantù International Piano and Ocherstra Competition 2019 and the 1st Prize at the Singapore International Piano Competition 2019. He is also the 3rd Place winner of the Kissinger KlavierOlymp in Bad Kissingen and the Finalist (2nd place) of the 10th International German Piano Award in Frankfurt. He has performed in concert venues such as the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and the Warsaw Philharmonie.
