Bingjian Chen

Biography

Bingjian Chen began to play the piano at six years old and was performing by the age of ten. She was admitted into the Colburn Conservatory of Music in the year 2022 and is pursuing her bachelor’s degree there now, under Fabio Bidini. Bingjian has performed both as a soloist and a chamber musician in venues like Herbst Theatre in San Francisco, Shanghai Heluting Concert Hall, Xiamen Concert Hall, Rocca Sforzesca, and CCTV (China Central Television). In 2021, she was invited to make a tour recital in Shandong Province, Shanghai, and Shangqiu. In 2023, she won the first prize in The Artcial Piano Competition, then the Royal Piano Competition. She was also selected as one of the 12 semifinalists in the New Orleans International Piano Competition 2024.
