Winner of the Kiefer Hablitzel Göhner Music Prize, Jansen Ryser has extensively performed throughout Europe as well as in the United States. Praised for his musicianship, his playing was described as "combining a natural pianism with a mature musical sensibility and poetic eloquence". Invited by numerous festivals, he has performed notably at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Lavaux Classic Festival, Vienna Young Pianist. At the age of 15 he made his debut with orchestra at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival. He studied with Matti Raekallio at the Juilliard School in New York thanks to the Theodora J. Nichols Scholarship and at the Haute Ecole de Musique in Geneva with Sylviane Deferne. He is a recipient of the 2017 Leenaards Foundation Scholarship. Currently, he is studying with Claudio Martinez in Basel.
