Jiwon Yang, since her debut in 2012, has won many awards, including 3rd Prize at the 2019 Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition and 3rd Prize at the 2018 Cleveland International Piano Competition for Young Pianists. Jiwon has actively performed throughout the world, including Korea, Philippines, Russia, and United States. She has performed globally with orchestras such as the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Camerata New York Orchestra. Noteworthy venues include the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Lewisville Theater in Texas, Steinway Hall in NYC, and Carnegie Weill Hall. She also participated in masterclasses with renowned pianists. Jiwon is currently studying at Mannes School of Music with Richard Goode and Pavlina Dokovska, and studied under Hyoung-Joon Chang in Korea.
