Gichang Lee

Biography

Gichang Lee graduated from the Yewon School and Seoul Arts Highschool in South Korea. He studied with Prof. Daejin Kim at the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts and graduated Bachelor’s degree from Korea National University of Arts with excellent grades with Prof. Minsoo Sohn. He is continuing his Master studies with Prof. Pietro De Maria at Universität Mozarteum Salzburg. Gichang Lee has been awarded prizes in numerous national and international competitions around the world. He was the First Prize winner of “Korea Chopin Competition”, “Samick Seiler Piano Concours”, “Korean Liszt Competiton”, “The Music Association of Korea Competition”, ”Asia Pacific International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition” and he won 2nd prize from “Concorso Pianistico Internazionale Massarosa”.
