Biography

Tiankai Yu studied with Tilman Krämer and Till Fellner. Continuing his musical odyssey, Yu moved to the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar in 2022 for his concert examination under the mentorship of Prof. Michail Lifits. His accolades include winning the 1st prize at the Federal Competition "Jugend musiziert" with his piano trio in 2016, securing 2nd place at the 9th International Rosario-Marciano Piano Competition in Vienna in 2017, and claiming 1st place at the 12th International Piano Competition in the same year. He has also showcased his talent at prestigious international piano competitions including Busoni, Santander, Geza Anda, and Leeds.
