Monica Zhang

Biography

Monica Zhang began studying piano at the age of 8 and currently studies at the Conservatory of Milan with Cristina Frosini. She has won prizes in more than 30 international competitions and has performed in Italy, Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, Iceland, and Morocco, as a soloist, chamber musician, and with orchestras. She has performed for the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, Fondazione La Società dei Concerti, Bocelli Foundation, Teatro Verdi in Pisa, Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Palazzo Pitti in Florence, Teatro Goldoni in Livorno, and the Ridotto of the Teatro alla Scala. In 2021, she won the Italian final of the Steinway competition, representing Italy at the International Steinway Festival in Hamburg. She was the Artist in Residence of the Fondazione La Società dei Concerti in Milan.
