Xuanxiang Wu

Biography

Born in China in 2007, Xuanxiang Wu was 9 years old when he was admitted to the Music Middle School Affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. There he studied with Prof. Ting Zhong. Since September 2021, he has been studying with Dr. Ernest Barretta at the Juilliard Pre-College. He also receives guidance from Prof. Mikhail Voskresensky. He will begin his Bachelor of Music studies at The Juilliard School in September 2025 with Prof. Yoheved Kaplinsky. He has performed in Carnegie Hall, St. Petersburg State Capella Concert Hall, Van Cliburn Concert Hall and other prestigious venues. His many honours include the First Prize and Audience Prize in the New York Liszt International Piano Competition, First Prize and Classical Prize in the Canada International Piano Competition.
