Elia Cecino began his piano studies at the age of 9. At the age of 18, he was awarded the XXXVI Premio Venezia, a recognition that is reserved for the most exceptional graduates of Italian conservatories. Elia won the 2023 Premi Iturbi in Valencia, which included special prizes for the best interpretation of a Beethoven Concerto and Chopin's music. He has also received awards at the Arthur Rubinstein Competition in Tel Aviv and the New Orleans Piano Competition. Elia has performed at prestigious venues, including the Merkin Hall in New York, Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, Ehrbar Saal in Vienna, La Fenice in Venice, and the Palau de la Música in Barcelona. He performed with orchestras including the Sinfonica di Milano, Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice, Israel Philharmonic, Louisiana Philharmonic, and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. He 2020 saw the release of his first two CDs. Another two albums dedicated to Brahms and Schumann will be released in 2025.
