Biography

Young Steinway Artist Yifan Wu has left his musical marks in several concert halls after securing prizes in prestigious international competitions, such as the first prize of Singapore International Piano Competition and the fifth prize in Shenzhen International Piano Concerto Competition. Since then, he started to perform recitals in venues both in China and abroad. His concerto performances with Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra and Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra were highly praised by the audience. In the summer of 2024, he attended the Piano Summer organized by pianist Vladimir Feltsman. During this event, he was awarded the first prize of Jacob Flier International Piano Competition and was invited by Feltsman Piano Foundation to make his Carnegie Weill Hall debut in March, 2025.
