Julian Trevelyan moved to France after winning the Concours Long-Thibaud in 2015 at the age of 16, becoming the youngest prize-winner in the competition's history. He also won laureates at competitions such as the Leeds, Géza Anda, Horowitz. He has appeared with the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, Orchestre de la Suisse Romandie, Tonhalle Zurich, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, St Petersburg Philharmonic and many others. He has recorded with the ORF Wien, the London Mozart Players and the BBCNOW. Mozart's Concertos Nos. 23 and 24 with Christian Zacharias were released by ALPHA in 2022. Further releases under the baton of Howard Griffiths will follow in 2025. He studies at the ENMP Alfred Cortot with Rena Shereshevskaya. He studied in London with Christopher Elton and Elizabeth Altman. His aims to inspire listeners around the world with his playing and explanations of the connection between music of all ages.
