Biography

Pianist Dongyoung Kim has performed in solo recitals in many concert halls, including Kumho art hall and YAMAHA concert hall. And he is a prize winner in numerous competitions, including the Korea Steinway competition, Shinhan Music Award, Shin Soo Jung Prize, and Teenager Music Competition. He attended Yewon School and Seoul Art High School and studied with Professor Minsoo Sohn in KNIGA (Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts). He made his orchestral debut with KNIGA Orchestra in 2017 in KT art hall. He attended Juilliard School from 2019-2023, studying with his professor, Hung-kuan Chen, and achieved his Bachelor’s Degree. In 2023, he began working with professor Dang Thai Son in New England Conservatory.
